My dad recently suffered from a heart attack and subsequent by-pass surgery. Thankfully the surgery went well and he is on his way to being more healthy than he was before the surgery! If you've been through this with a loved one, you know that it can be very stressful.
I came home from the hospital on the day of his surgery, thoroughly exhausted, and still in disbelief at how he looked immediately after surgery. I searched for a recent photo of him so I could get that image out of mind. I found this one. It was taken just a couple of days before his heart attack. He looked so happy and healthy that day. Who knew what was going on inside his body. So I grabbed the November Scrap-Muse kit, and created this layout. I did not shed a tear at the hospital, but I cried the entire time I worked on this layout. But when I finished the layout, I felt so much better. I think it helped to get my feelings on paper.
Here's "My Dad"
Oh, and here's a look at the November Scrap-Muse kit. It's full of bright colors (yum!), some fabric, some felt, and of course, lots of embellishments!
